It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Florence Roberts announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband George Leroy Roberts of 42 years; her children: Lisa Jean Roberts (husband A. Dion Loder), George Lee Roberts (wife Linda Roberts nee Philpott); her grandchildren Josh Loder, Tyler Roberts and Sarah Roberts; her mother Susie (nee Day) French; family-in-law: Florie Fraser, Sharon and David Harding, Calvin and Mary Roberts, Darrell and Sharon Roberts and Linda French; her special friend and cousins: Louise Ardley, Roslyn Hamshire and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jean was predeceased by her father William French, her brother George French Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where a funeral service will take place at Country Haven Chapel on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. A celebration of life will take place at the Elks Lodge following the service. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
