The death occurred peacefully at the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Sunday, August 2, 2018, of Joe Buote, formerly of North Rustico, aged 76. Joe was the son of the late John Leonard and Mary Angelina (Gallant) Buote. He is survived by his sister, Cecile Buote; brother, Merril Buote; sister-in-law, Betty Buote; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by his sisters, Loretta Burton (Tom), Rosina Blacquiere (Louis) and Bernice Buote; and brothers, Douglas (Germaine), Alyre (Clara) and Edward. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow. There will be no visitation by personal request. Funeral will be held at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
