Alexander, Elaine May
The death of Elaine May (Canning) Alexander of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Francis Alexander occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, May 13th, 2011. Born in Parrsboro, NS the daughter of the late Leo and Alda (Corbin) Canning.
Elaine is survived by her two sons, R. Michael Alexander of Fredericton and David Alexander (Rhonda) of Geary, NB; two brothers, Ronnie Canning (Barb) of Fredericton and Jim Canning (Janet) of Wassis, NB; one sister, Teresa Jeffers of Fredericton and two step-brothers, Pernell Rector of Fredericton, NB and Clinton Rector of Oromocto, NB. She was predeceased by her husband Francis, her parents, one sister, Catherine Sellers and one step-brother Kirk Rector.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service took place at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 17th, 2011 at 11 Am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment took place in the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery, Oromocto immediately following the memorial service. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Arthirtis Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
