A carpenter, gardener, his dog's best friend, and generously loving father and husband, Daniel Menard passed away peacefully in his 61st year at the CHUS in Sherbrooke on the afternoon of August 8, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Szpakowski; cherished by his children Shawn, Paul (Jasmine) and Hollie; adored by his grandchildren Kaitlin and Callie. He was the dear brother of Armand Menard (Sherry), Huguette Arton, Andre Menard (Lisette), Helene Fauteux, Michel Menard (Kathleen) and Gaetan Menard. Always remembered by nieces and nephews. Dear friend to many, never forgotten. Visitation will take place from 9h am on Satutday, September 15, 2018 at Maison Gamache & Nadeau Ltée, 590, rue St-Alphonse Sud, Thetford Mines. The funeral service will follow at 11h am in the Chapelle of Maison Gamache & Nadeau Ltée. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or an organization of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
