It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Russell announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at the age of 89 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Hillary and two sons: Don (Pauline) Russell of Windsor, Ontario, Lloyd Russell of Stephenville; three daughters: Sylvia (Ron) Gurnicz of Hazel Park, Michigan; Carolyn (Lewis) Eddy of Kippens; Loretta Russell of Stephenville and two brothers: Bert (Rose) Foote of Buchans; Fred (Vera) Foote of Mings Bite, Green Bay; one sister, Mary (Bruce) Petrie of Oakville, Ontario; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Carolyn Foote; brother, Clarence Foote; and sister, Stella Saunders. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Friday, May 27 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, May 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
