Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009, Edna Winnifred Pynn, at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Louise (Todd) of Deer Lake, Edna (Eric), Hamilton, Ontario, Breada of Ontario, Dianne (Jerry) of Hamilton, Ontario and Edgar of Botwood; her stepchildren: Lorne of Corner Brook and Marilyn (Jim Pynn) of Hampden; her 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Mother was predeceased by her son, Terry and stepdaughter, Gloria. Also leaves to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her extended family. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, Friday, August 28th, 2009. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 29th, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. from the Pentecostal Church in Deer Lake with Pastor David Gifford officiating.
