Agnes 'Aggie' Wroblewski Stephenson

We, the family of the late Agnes “Aggie” Wróblewski Stephenson, would like to thank the many individuals who provided care and assistance so Aggie could continue to live independently at home (as she wished) over the past several years. To the parishioners of St. Mary’s Polish Church for their care, concern, and prayers. To Aggie’s neighbours Kaye (a dear and loyal friend) and Walter Ingraham and Barbara and Gerard MacKinnon who provided so many supports to enable Aggie to live at home for as long as possible. To her late godson, Kenny Paruch, who was Aggie’s on call handy man for many years. To Dr. Gregory Myatt and his staff, Janice and Laura for their exceptional care and support to Aggie for so many years. To Kim Brown, Continuing Care Coordinator, who journeyed with Aggie and her late husband Peter for several years. To the VON who provided ongoing nursing assistance with Aggie in her home. To the staff at the Cape Breton Regional Library (James McConnell Memorial Library) who searched for Large Print Murder Mystery books for Aggie and were so kind and caring to her over the years. To Home Instead (Sandra, Chris, and Michelle) who provided recent home supports to Aggie. To the EHS Paramedics and their many visits to assist Aggie when required. To the staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital (Emergency, 3A, 4B) and Northside General Hospital who cared for Aggie until her move to the Cove Guest Home. To the staff of the Cove Guest for your kindness, compassion, attention, and care provided to Aggie until her death on August 14, 2018.
Thank you to those who provided supports to our family during our recent loss by visiting, phone calls, emails, and offers of assistance. To all of you who assisted with Aggie’s Memorial Mass, Reception, and Internment: Fr. Dennis Lamey for assisting with preparations for Aggie’s Mass; Fr. To all of you who took the time to attend Aggie’s Memorial Mass, on August 20, 2018 at St. Mary’s Polish Church, was very meaningful to our family. Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, Mass enrolments, sympathy cards, flowers, online condolences, and donations to St. Mary’s Polish Parish Building Fund.
Thank you to the Pier Community Funeral Home (Bill Laurie, Kevin Head, and other staff) for your care, compassion, professionalism, and assistance with Aggie’s private family viewing, cremation, Memorial Mass, and Internment.
