"Jimmy"

August 14, 1952 - May 20, 2011

Jimmy passed away peacefully in Balfour, B.C. where he had been living with his caregivers for the past several years. Jimmy joined what became his extended family when his mother was no longer able to give him the care he required.

Jimmy grew up in Chase. He spent many hours with his family, took pleasure in music, dancing and certainly was the first in the car to go for a ride. He loved outings in the boat and could play an entertaining game of softball and bowling. He loved watching all sports on TV with his favourite being hockey.

Jimmy will be fondly remembered by his sisters: Rhona Baker (Syd), Rae Mathewson (John), Jaqueline Smith (Harold), Margaret "Ticky" Bilawchuk (Fred) and Teri Sumners (Brian) and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his loving parents Jack and Nora Robillard, brothers Ronald, Russell and Robert, brothers-in-law Syd, John and Harold.

Very special thanks goes to Jimmy's caregivers Marlene Lemke and her daughter Reverend Cheryl Hulme, for their never ending love and outstanding care they gave our brother, during the many years they opened their homes, their arms and their hearts to embrace Jimmy; one of Gods "Little Ones".

The Reverend Father Vincent Asomugha will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Chase on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Chase Memorial Cemetery.
Should friends desire, donations to the B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation, 4480 Oak Street, Vancouver, B.C., V6H 3V4 in memory of Jimmy would be appreciated.
