Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on August 26, 2009 at the L.A. Miller Centre after a short battle with cancer, Bridget Anne Dawe (Laurie), aged 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Aubrey; brother Herbert and sister Kathleen. Leaving to mourn her children Robert (Gloria), Karen Dawe-Cooper, Michael (Mary), Brian (Lana), Audrey Sheppard (Howard) and Sean (Cheryl); her three sisters Vera Robson, Mary (Bob van Nostrand and Florence Laurie; her sixteen very loved grandchildren Evan, Nathan, Holly, Adam, Sarah, Megan, Michael, Amy, Leah, Jillian, Valerie, Padraig and Bridget Dawe and Rebekkah, Hilary and Dylan Sheppard; a very wide circle of family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the St. Patrick’s Restoration Fund.
