October 1, 1926 - May 24, 2011. Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, May 24 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Terrance (1987), son William (1984), brothers: Cyril & Bill and sister Mary. Left with wonderful memories her children: Ann (Pat Broderick), Janet (daughter-in-law), Sharon, Gary (Jeannette), Lorraine (Jerry Young), Patricia (Craig Slaney), Debbie (Bob Blackmore), Margaret (Duncan Shaw) and Terrance (Deborah). Marie will be missed by 23 grandchildren: Denise, Michael, Sara, Andrea, Laura, Stephen, Andrew, David, Christina, Heather, Jeffrey, Lisa, Amy, Kristen, Aaron, Sean, Daniel, Maria, Matthew, Liam, Isaac, Ellen, and Lilly. Also leaving her sisters: Agatha Hawco, Kay Power and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home on LeMarchant Rd. Visitation on Wednesday, May 25th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 26th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary Queen of Peace Church on Friday, May 27th at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made, in Mom’s memory, to St. Patrick's Mercy Home.
