"SCOTTY" LILLIAN MANUEL (nee Scott)
Scotty passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Wife of the late John Manuel, Scotty is survived by her two children: Cindy (Ted) and Denis (Ivette) and her grand-children: David, Megan, Clare, Sofia and Alec. She was predeceased by her parents Victor and Mary Ellen Scott of Grand Falls, her brother Victor and her sister Marie (Dawe). Visitation was held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, May 28 at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. A reception followed at Jennifer’s Restaurant, Broadway. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
