BOUCHER, PATRICIA - 1939 - 2011 - Patricia Boucher, 71, of Normandie St., Dieppe (formerly Moncton and Chartersville) passed away on Wednesday, May 25th, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center, after a two year battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Sylvain Boucher (1973) and the late Eleonore LeBlanc (1997) of Chartersville, NB. Patsy worked in numerous places, of note the CNIB canteen of the Faculty of Education at the University of Moncton for many years, where she was loved and appreciated by all. She was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and loved working in her garden on Mansfield Street. Flowers were her pride and joy, especially her African Violets. She leaves to mourn her only sister, Eva-Mae (Paul Bourque) of Dieppe; a half-sister, Anna (Camille Leger) of Stoney Creek, ON; a half-brother, Alfred (late Madeline) of Dartmouth, NS and one sister-in-law, Eileen Boucher of Dieppe. She was predeceased by a half-brother, Laurie Boucher (2002). She also leaves to mourn two nieces and one nephew: Marie-Lyne Bourque-Blanchard of Dieppe, Christine Bourque of Dieppe and Roland Bourque of Calhoun, NB. She also leaves to mourn her faithful and loving companion, Benoit Bezeau, his two children: Roseline, Alain and their families.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. No visitation on the day of the funeral.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Monday, May 30th, 2011 at 11 am. Interment in the family lot, Saint-Anselme Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
