Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 2, 2018 the death occurred of Charles Borden Kennedy of New Perth, in his 101st year. He was the husband of the late Evelyn MacEachern and the late Flossie Boehner. Son of the late Milton and Elizabeth (MacNeil) Kennedy. Charlie was the beloved father of Audrey Power (Billy), Carol Mooring (Dan), Janet MacKinnon (David); loving grandfather of Susan, Jeffery, Carolyn, Nicole, Elizabeth, Leanne, Jon; great grandfather of Aidan, Dakota, Alex, Patrick, Dylan and Evan; brother-in-law of Joyce Kennedy, Anne Cameron (John); loved by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by infant daughter Linda Paulette; sisters Ada Thompson, Velma Dixon, Bette Whiteway; brothers George, Roy and Carl Kennedy. Charles was a veteran of WWII. A Legion Service will be held prior to visitation. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Monday, November 5th from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral Service to take place at Hillcrest United Church, Montague on Tuesday, November 6th at 11 am. Interment to take place in the Community Park Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, Kings County Memorial Hospital or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
