Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, Hugh Edward Druken, age 59, of Paradise. Predeceased by his mother and father Madonna and Leo Druken, baby sister Barbara Ann, and father-in-law Chesley Strickland. Leaving to mourn his wife of 39 years Frances; son Dwayne (Candy); daughter Victoria (Mark); grandson and Poppy’s Little Buddy Chesley; brothers: Val (Rona), Pat (Edie), Leo (Gloria), David (Beverly), Victor and Donald (Mary); one sister Bridget (George), all at St. John’s; mother-in-law Mrs. Lillian Strickland and the Strickland family; several nieces, nephews and cousins, friends and co-workers as Farrell’s Excavation; uncle Sylvester Druken and aunt Jean Lynch, plus a large circle of friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Friday. Funeral service to take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011 from Holy Family Parish, Paradise. Interment to follow at Topsail Roman Catholic Cemetery.
