Port au Port East

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gregory Gaudon announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, May 26, 2011, at the age of 80 years. He will be sadly missed by his four children: Catherine (Joseph) McCarthy of Bedford, Nova Scotia; Clinton (Joan) Gaudon of Baie Verte; Sonya (John) Dalton of New Zealand; Christine Gaudon of Bedford, Nova Scotia and one brother Roy (Bonnie) Gaudon of Port au Port East; two sisters: Madge Lee and Janet Cashin, both of Port au Port East; 13 grandchildren: Warren, Brendan, Maura, Sean, Brenna, Pamela, Brandy, Ryan, Elizabeth, Sherry, Brendan, Kevin, Jessica and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Madonna Cecilia Gaudon on November 5, 2007, his parents Vina and Medrick Gaudon, three brothers, Wilson, Harold and Thomas Gaudon, one sister, Theresa Pugh. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Monday, May 30 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, May 31 at 2 p.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East with Cremation to follow. Private family Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Our Lady of Mercy Church, Port au Port West Restoration Fund would be greatly appreciated.
