CODY, MARION GERTRUDE - The death of Marion Gertrude Cody of White's Cove, NB occurred on May 27th, 2011 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born January 7th, 1929, she was the daughter of the late George and Muriel (Foshay) Boyd and wife to the late Harry Talbot Cody. Marion is survived by her children, Marlene Black (Donald), Gary Cody (Michelle), Glenna Law (Charlie McKeague), Janice Cody, Donna Gallant (Wade), Norma Cody, Daryl Cody and Joan Daley (John); her grandchildren, Dianna, Margaret Ann, Samantha, Sarah, Timothy, Tiffany, Tyler, Nickolas, Alex and Amanda; five great-grandchildren; her brother, Clifford Boyd (Lois) as well as her nieces, nephews and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Harry; her children, Marilyn Cody and Leonard Cody and her grandson, Todd Fanjoy. A special thanks to Rev. Daniel Walton, Dr. G. Haines, staff of the Oromocto Public Hospital Med 1 and Gagetown Special Care Home, Michelle Cody, Rita Parsons and Charlie McKeague for all their love, care and support that they have given to the family during this time.
Visitation will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Sunday, May 29th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will take place at the Jemseg Baptist Church on Monday, May 30th, 2011 at 3:30 pm with Rev. Daniel Walton officiating. Interment will take place in White's Cove United Cemetery.
