Kenneth Duncan Bostock of Kamloops passed away on May 18, 2011 at 78 years of age.
Survived by his wife Pearl of 57 years; children Kim (Julia), Shelley, Susan, Jordie (Faith); grandchildren Brad Bostock, Nikki Bostock & Eric Bahnsen, Jessica Bostock, Joel Bostock; great-grandchild Avery Ann Bahnsen; sisters Betty (Ken) Jorde, Joyce (Clifford) Schneider, sister-in-law Pat Bostock & brother-in-law Dave Koch and many nieces & nephews.
Predeceased by father & mother Angus & Voilet Bostock, brother Donovan and daughter Karen.
Ken was born in Gull Lake, Saskatechewan on October 6, 1932 and passed away in Kamloops on May 18, 2011 with family by his side. Ken met his wife Pearl at Copper Mtn., B.C. in 1952 and married in Princeton in 1953 and were blessed with five children. The family moved to Kamloops in 1967 where Ken had a varied work career. After retirement Ken spent many happy hours donating his time at the KXA as President, Board Member and Jack-Of-All Trades.
Interment at Kamloops Cemetery; no formal service by request of family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Paul Lake Community Assoc., 2164 Paul Lake Rd., Kamloops, B.C., V2H 1N8 in his great-grandchild's name, Avery Ann Bahnsen for a community playground, or charity of your choice.
A "Gathering of Family & Friends of Ken Bostock" will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Mount Paul Centre on the KXA Grounds from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Join us for a 'Beef in a Bun' & reminiscing of Ken.
