SYLVIA, Norman – Passed peacefully away at Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, Mr. Norman Sylvia of Makinsons, aged 76 years. Predeceased by parents Robert and Maud Sylvia (nee Whelan), brothers Gilbert and Ronald Sylvia, grandchild: Victoria Megan Newman, nieces Gail, Heather and Donna Sylvia. Leaving to mourn wife Vera Sylvia (nee Rowe); sons: Dennis, Kenneth, Robert, Brent, Scott; daughters: Wendy, Norma, Debra; sister-in-law Daphne Rowe; nieces and nephews: Donna, Keith, Linda, Carol, Kim Morgan, Steven Rowe, David Morgan; 24 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
