It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Wilfred Caines, announce his sudden passing at his family residence in Portland Creek, N.L., on Friday, May 27th, 2011 at the age of 75 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories of their years together his wife; Shirley nee Pittman, his sons;Wayne ( Pamela ) of Corner Brook, Tony ( Trudy ) of Portland Creek, and Brent ( Charlotte ) of Cambridge, Ontario. step-daughter Denise ( Dion ) of Fort Mcmurray and step-son Dalano ( Cammy ) of Corner Brook. six grandchildren, Crystal, April, Dana, Julia, Tyson and Lucas. two great-grandchildren Madison and Hennessa. His siblings David ( Lily ) Caines of Portland Creek, Alma ( Harvey ) Parsons of Parsons Pond, Hilda ( Victor ) Goosney of Parsons Pond, Aster ( Ada ) Caines of Portland Creek and Edith Caines of Hawkes Bay. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Portland Creek,on Sunday, May 29th, 2011 & on Monday, May 30th, 2011. Where also funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 31st, 2011 at 2:pm, with the Rev.John Olsson officiating, with burial to follow at the family plot.
