Rowe, Joan Augusta (nee Kennedy) - Passed peacefully away on May 26th, 2011 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Dr. W.G.; son J Derek; sister Monica Rowsell; daughter-in- law Maureen Penney; and brother-in-law Arthur Thorne. Survived by her son David (Irene) of Goose Bay, son Peter (Michelle Smith) of Mount Pearl, daughter Carolyn (Julian Dunn) of Ottawa, son Jeffrey (Judy) of Halifax; daughter-in-law Helen of Topsail; sister Faith of Halifax; brothers: Jim (Cathy) of Corner Brook and Gerald (Dorothy) of Deer Lake; sister-in-law Mildred Luscombe of Corner Brook; six grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Janeway Childrens Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. As she wished, cremation has already taken place.
