Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, of Marjorie Gaudet of Summerside, aged 85 years. Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late D. James and Celina (Perry) McNeill. Survived by her children, Paul “JP” (Diane) Gaudet, Stanley Bridge, Marilyn (Errol) Ladner, Summerside, Mary (Kim) Campbell, Stanley Bridge, grandchildren, Mark (Weili) Gaudet, Susan (Troy) Scheiber, and Cynthia (Jason) Merrill, great-grandchildren, Madison and Jacob Scheiber, brothers, Leonard (Mae) McNeill, Richmond, Gussie (Margaret) McNeill, Richmond, Jerome (Shirley) McNeill, Richmond, a sister, Mary Noonan, Summerside, and by her best friend, Marsha Schurman. Predeceased by her husband, Hilary Gaudet, brothers Bob and Ed McNeill, and by a sister, Agnes MacWilliams. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. only. Memorial donations to the Wedgewood Manor Memorial Trust Fund or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. On Monday evening, members of St. Paul’s Catholic Women’s League will hold a prayer service, at the funeral home, at 5:45 p.m.
