With broken hearts, we, the family of Nora Alice Falconer, regret to announce her passing on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at the Northside Community Guest Home, North Sydney.
Born January 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Rose Hillier.
Nora is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Curtis Barter) and Darlene, Sydney; sister, Beatrice Harrison, Ontario; brother-in-law, Doug (Anne) Falconer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins near and far, as well as several friends and her fur babies, Beaver, Petu, Big Mama and Missy (pet cats).
She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Falconer (December 8, 2007); son, Brian (June 22, 2011); sisters, Caroline (the late George) Gillard and Marion (the late John) Hillier; and brother, Hubert Hillier.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 5 from 10-11 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rosemary Godin officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Horizon Achievement Center, Northside Community Guest Home or the Alzheimer Association.
