It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Hubert Poole (Dec. 26, 1925 – May 25, 2011), of St. Lewis, NL, announce his passing on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Long Term Care facility in Forteau. He was 85 years old. Hubert leaves to mourn his loving wife Doris of 63 years; daughters Lucy, Loretta, Hazel (Bert), Carrie, Betty (Donald), and Louise (Winston); sons Eric (Loraine), Ross (Agnes), Ivan, Barry (Jenny), Alton (Emily), and Freeman, and over 50 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Hubert was predeceased by father James, mother Mary, son Lester, and brothers James and Leander. The family service took place at the Poole household, Pauline Russell officiated. The funeral service took place at St. Mark the Evangelist, St. Lewis, with Rev. Irene Sutton officiating. We kindly extend our thanks to all who have supported us during this time.
