Passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at his residence. James Kearsey age 61 years. Predeceased by his father: James and mother: Elizabeth (nee Murphy). Leaving to mourn are his five children: Pauline Price (Donny), David Kearsey, Kimberley Street (Robert Mitchell), Wanda Kearsey, John Kearsey and their mother: Lillian Parmenter; 12 grandchildren; brothers: Ricky (Bev), Wally (Carol), Tony (Michelle), Keith (Patricia), Eddie, Rodney (Karen) and sisters: Trish (Brian), Debbie (Nick), Linda (Jimmy); his family at Lynch Place: Peggy Gushue, Barry Pie and Brenda Power. Also leaving to mourn are many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the support staff of Lynch Place for all their compassion and friendship they offered James during his stay. The family would also like to thank Dave Fallon for being such a good friend to James. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, Aug. 31 and Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Elim Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow. Interment will be held on Thursday, Sept. 3 at Mount Carmel Cemetery at 11 a.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in James memory to the Arthritis Society.
