It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Morris Lavers announce his sudden passing at the University Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, on Thursday, August 27th, 2009, at the age of 47 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his daughter, Amanda (Richard) of Winnipeg, MB; his parents: Brendan & Mary of Deer Lake; his sisters: Minnie Parsons (Robert) of Cormack, Louise Donaldson (Mike) of Lower Sackville, NS; his brothers: Paul (Helen) of Lower Sackville, NS, Brendan (Sherrilynn) and Jamie, both of Deer Lake and Dwight (Holly) of Lower Sackville, NS; his grandmother, Mrs. Maggie Feltham; his 14 nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Vanessa Lori-Ann Lavers; nephew, Aaron Robert Parsons; grandparents, Sherlock Sr. & Minnie Lavers, and Edgar Feltham; aunt, Mary (June) Lavers; uncles: Sherlock Lavers Jr., Rod Feltham, James Lavers and Leslie (Bubbles) Humphrey. Also leaves to mourn a large circle of aunts and uncles, other family and friends. The family is receiving family and friends from the hours of 10-12 from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, where the funeral service will take place today, Monday, August 31st, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., with Mons. Jim Robertson officiating. Burial to follow at the family plot of the Roman Catholic section of Wights Road Cemetery in Deer Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mulbury Place at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, in William Morris' memory. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake.
