Mary Catherine MacDonald passed with peace and grace on January 21, 2019 in the Maple Hill Manor, NW at the age of 93.
Born in Cheticamp, she was the daughter of the late Job and Elizabeth (Deveaux) Bourgeois.
Through out her life she took great pride in her home and her children. She will be always remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and whose greatest passion was helping others.
She leaves to mourn sons, Alexander, Joe, (Donna); daughters, Kathleen, Brenda; grandchildren, Joel, Melissa (Brent), Jason, April (Allen), and Frank; great grandchildren, Hunter, Jeremy, Holden, Ryder, and Athena.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband, Daniel in 2010 and son, Wayne. Mary Catherine came from a large family of eleven children, all of whom preceded her in death
Cremation has taken place and directions are under the care of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday January 25, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the KOC, all are welcomed to attend.
