BEGLAU: Dianne (nee Carduner) born February 8, 1950 passed away August 25, 2009 finally easing the pain she had suffered for too long. Dianne was predeceased by her mother and father, Faith and Peter Carduner and mother-in-law and father-in-law Pearl and Arthur Beglau, sister Shirley Unrau, brothers-in–law Gerald Beglua and Eldon Unrau, and nephew Craig Unrau. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Ted Beglau, her children Chris Beglau and Sharla (Steve) Jensen and their children Cassidy and Quinn, special nieces Cheryl (George) Berenyi and their children Rochelle, Mary Ann and Katrina, Colleen (Rick) Gardner and their children Jamie and Brendan and Leeanne (Danny) Preston and their children Shylan and Shelby, siblings John (Shirley) Carduner, Judy (Leroy) Leoppky, and Brain (Lynne) Cardner as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Dianne will be remembered and missed for her strength and calm in very often wild household of 5 children along with 25 years of foster children and many years of babysitting in her home. She was called Nana by almost all children who knew her. She adored her grandchildren and was thrilled to spend as much time as possible with them. She loved to cook and bake and we all looked forward to the new recipes she would try as well as tried and true favorites like her buns and cinnamon buns. Her love of travel took her and Ted to many places as far away as Hong Kong, Mexico and Jamaica, while her love of the mountains led them to Alberta and BC. Dianne was a fairly private person so her family and their lives were her and she will be terribly missed by all.
