ANNE DESCHNER
June 1, 1927 - August 29, 2009
The death of Anne Deschner, age 82 years, of Fairview Court, Saskatoon occurred at her home on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Anne was born on a farm just outside of Pleasantdale, SK. She had seven brothers and sisters: Esther (Ron), Shiela (Ted), William, Edward, Winnifred, Iris and Robert. Anne joined the army as a young woman and served as a CWAC in WWII. She loved garage sales, Bingo, traveling and shopping. Anne is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family; Doug Corrigal (Debbi Gola), Brian Corrigal, Terry (Janet) Corrigal all of Prince Albert, SK; Wendy Corrigal of Victoria, BC; Brenda Corrigal (Darwin Smith) of Edmonton, AB; Greg Corrigal of Saskatoon, SK; and Beverly Corrigal of Longview, AB; stepchildren Terry , Bob (Judy) and Jean (Doug); eleven grandchildren: Susan (Michael), Kenny, Tracy, Alyssa, Scott, Laura, Alison, Delina, Jody, Kim, Amanda and two great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren Dale, Shelley, Clayton, Rodney and Jackie; and step-great grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by her husband Tony and her daughter-in-law, Shirley. The family would like to thank all of Anne's friends and neighbors for their concern and kindness. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Acadia Drive Funeral Chapel, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, SK. Donations may be made in memory of Anne to the Canadian Diabetes Association 104 2301 Avenue C North Saskatoon, SK S7L 5Z5.
