Leslie ‘Les’ Ahle passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at his home, with his beloved companion ‘Rusty’ at his side on Aug. 27, 2009, in his 45th year.
He was a loving husband to Dianne for over 12 years and a devoted father to Leslie, Jenny (Matthew) and Elizabeth.
He is survived by his father Leif; his sisters, Pauline, Chrissy (Keith) and Corrine and his brother, Terry (Heather); his mother and father-in-law, Mary and Ernest Noble; his brothers-in-law, Fred (Cathy) and Francis (Mary); his sisters-in-law, Bernadette (John) and Kim (Forbes). Les will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Amelda, his brother, Rickie and sister, Debbie.
Visitation Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Florence, with Fr. Thomas John officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to St. Stephen’s Cemetery Fund or a charity of choice.
