MURPHY, PHYLLIS JANE - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB after a lengthy illness, Ms. Phyllis Jane Murphy of Lake Utopia NB. Born at St. Stephen NB on September 22, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Burton and Nina (Noddin) Murphy. A loving mother and grandmother she is survived by one daughter, Nancy Armstrong (Patrick Anderson) of St. Andrews NB, two sons; Dennis Armstrong (Linda Haywood) of St. George NB and Mark Armstrong (Jamie Reynolds) of Fredericton NB, three grandchildren; Clifford Armstrong, Lisa Armstrong and Georgina Armstrong and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by one son, Bruce Armstrong.
As keeping with Phyllis’ wishes there will be no visiting. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm from the Christ Church (Anglican) Cemetery, Pennfield NB with Rev. Canon Keith Osborne officiating. In Phyllis’ memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
