It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reginald Basha announce his peaceful passing in the presence of his daughters at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at the age of 97 years. Predeceased by his wife Nina (nee Sexton). Left to enjoy many beautiful memories are his loving daughters: Karen (Brian), Susan (Glenn), Vicki; his grandchildren: Greg, Andrea (Kevin), Ian (Jen), Allison (Chris); his great-grandchildren: the light of his life Nathanial, Jayden, Riley, Ciara, Carmen, Luke; his brothers and sisters: Von, Angie, Lillian, Bern; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Reginald was predeceased by his parents, siblings, and other relatives. At Reginald’s request, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 469 Curling Street on Monday, Feb. 11, 2019 at 10:30 am with Father Jim Robertson officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the local food bank, or to a charity of one’s choice.
