James E Caldwell
It is with heartfelt thanks the family offer gratitude to all who helped us in our time of sorrow and loss. To those who brought food to our homes, called, sent cards, flowers, memorial donations, family and friends who travelled to be with us, we will remember your kindness forever.
To the staff of Harbourstone Enhanced Care, most especially the second floor of Kenwood’s “Steel Workers Lane”, your care over three years was special and extremely appreciated.
We thank the physicians who attended Jim at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, the Palliative Care Staff, paramedics and nurses.
We are grateful to our minister, Rev. Marion Barclay MacKay, organist Don Crouse, and choir for leading the singing for some of Jim’s favorite hymns. Thanks to daughter Barbara McIsaac for the touching eulogy, and to grandchildren Jonathon, Tyler and Aaron Caldwell, Keir and Jared McIsaac, and Shaemus Campbell for acting as Grampie’s pallbearers. To Tierney McIsaac, Julie and Kristianne Campbell and Joannah Unsworth for reading favorite portions of scripture, as well as assembling a lovely collage of pictures for display at the funeral home.
To the Hospitality Committee and ladies of St. Andrew’s for the lovely reception, and to the staff of Jobes Funeral Home for your gentle caring and professionalism.
To each one who was kind and helped in many ways, thank you.
We, his family, give thanks for the life of our dear one and the many blessings he brought to our lives.
Wife Joan
Children Norman, Barbara, Kenneth, Margie Lou, Peter and their families.
