It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Northcott of Port au Choix, NL, announce his passing at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders on Monday, May 30, 2011 in his 91st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters Bernice, Yvett (Dave), Jenny (George), Brenda (Ed), Peggy (Nath), Vicki (Owen) and Connie; sons Paul (Anita), Gary (Masie) and Romeo (Bonnie); daughter-in-law Florence; 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Euphrasia (Diddy) and son Gerard. The family received friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Funeral Service took place at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, June 2 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Lee Lainey officiating, with cremation to follow.
