of Bell Island, age 75 years. Passed suddenly away after a lengthy battle with cancer at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island, on August 31, 2009. Predeceased by husband Chesley in 1983, mother Rhoda and father Eugene, two brothers and one sister. Leaving to mourn special friend Peter Murray; three sons: Chesley Keith, Bell Island, Jeffrey (Alice), Bell Island, Gregory, Alberta; three daughters: Beverly (Jim), Kelligrews, Christine (Tony), Bell Island, Terri-Lynn, Guelph; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; five sisters and five brothers; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island on Tuesday, September 1st, Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, September 3rd, at 2 p.m. from Jacksons United Church. Internment to follow at St. Marys Anglican Cemetery, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
