Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on June 1, 2011, Rita Lillian Chafe, aged 80 years. Predeceased by husband Alfred Edward Chafe, sister Jean Clements, and son David Chafe. Leaving to mourn companion Luke Clarke; son Paul (Janet); daughters: Judy (Garry), Carolann (John) and Valerie (Gerry); daughter-in-law Sharon Chafe; brothers: Bill (Betty), Russ (Lorraine), David (Judy) and George; sister Gladys; grandchildren: Judie (Loyal), Carl Jordan, Matthew and Janelle, also many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday, June 2nd from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, June 3rd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Chapel on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at the Field of Honor, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
