Marie Veronica Boutilier

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Veronica Boutilier, age 86 on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (MacNeil) Boutilier.
Marie was a long time member of Holy Cross Church, Glace Bay.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Marie is survived by her nieces, Cindy, Kathy and nephew, David Boutilier.
Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her sister, Amelia; brothers, Joe, John, Normie; nephews, Ron and Greg Boutilier.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay. Interment will be held at a later date in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Glace Bay.
To the nurses and doctors at the E.R Department, a special thank you for your care and compassion.
Donations can be made to the renal dialysis unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and to the local S.P.C.A.
