Remembering Marie Romeo, who died on March 10, 2018. A wonderful mother, Nanny, sister, friend and nurse to so many. At this time, we, her children, look back a year ago at the kindness and generosity of family and friends who helped us through Mom’s death: Father Ray Huntley, Mom’s nephew, and Father Patrick O’Neil, for the beautiful Funeral Mass and prayers, Nephews Cyril, Colin and Lawrence Muise, Hughie Bagnell, Brother-in-law Brian Shebib and Son-in-law Martin MacKinnon as Pallbearers, Mom’s sister, Monica Shebib, nieces Karen Fryer and Annette Burke as lectors, St Joseph’s Choir and CWL, and the staff of Dooley’s Funeral Home. The Honor Guard by the Retired Nurses of St Elizabeth Hospital was truly special. Thank you to friends and relatives whose kind words and support helped us greatly. Special Thanks and Love to Aunt Monica and Aunt Georgie, whose love, support and guidance continue to surround us.
