The death occurred at Whisperwood Villa on August 30, 2009, of Erma Hughes of Charlottetown and formerly of West Covehead, age 96 years.
Beloved wife of the late Chesley Hughes. Predeceased by her son Wayne. Survived by her daughter-in-law, Anne Hughes, and grandchildren, Tracey and Brett; sister, Rhea (John) Barker. Predeceased by her brothers, Clive, Grove and Leith MacMillan.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment in West Covehead Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to Pat and the Elephant or the Food Bank would be appreciated.
