Betty Lou Blenkhorn
Age 65 years of Canaan Road, Cumb. Co., passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Nappan.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late George and Jean (King) Bird.
Betty Lou enjoyed playing bingo and cards and especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, George; daughter, Carolee Blenkhorn, Southampton; son, Michael Blenkhorn, Springhill; granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth Blenkhorn; niece Lisa King; great niece Amanda and nephew Evan.
She was predeceased by a brother, Carman and a sister Marie.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, (902 597 2361) where visitation was held Sunday, May 29, 2011.
Funeral Service held Monday, May 30, 2011 from the Funeral Home with The Reverend Alan Griffin officiating. Burial in Mapleton Cemetery, Cumb. Co., NS.
