Passed away suddenly at the QEII Hospital, Halifax, NS on Monday, May 30, 2011, Mary Toope of Old Bonaventure, aged 75 years. Predeceased by husband Charles. Left with fond and loving memories her children Linda Davis (Graham), Clarenville, Cyril (Norma), Old Bonaventure, Hayward, Old Bonaventure, Dave (Tracy), Old Bonaventure and Ivan (Heather), Clarenville; sisters Geraldine (William Wiseman), Clarenville, Jessie Miller, Port Rexton, Beulah (George Morres), Ontario, Ruby Cooper, Ontario, Lorraine (Lloyd Lander), Ontario and Edna (Garry Trowbridge); brothers Selby Cooper (Betty) and Garry Cooper (Juanita), Halifax, NS; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at St. John Anglican Church, New Bonaventure. Funeral service took place on Saturday, June 4, 2011 from St. John Anglican Church, New Bonaventure with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Old Bonaventure. In her memory donations may be made to Anglican Cemetery, Old Bonaventure.
