Grace J. Steeves - 1952 - 2011 - Grace J. Steeves, 59 years, of Parkindale, NB passed away in Prosser Brook as result of an all-terrain vehicle accident, on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Born in Collier Mountain, NB on March 24, 1952 she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Mae (Surette) Steeves. Grace will be remembered by many for her love of painting, crafting and most of all was the love she shared for her family and living life to its fullest. She will be sadly missed by her son Raymond M. (Tessica) Steeves of Elgin; sisters Dorothy (Floyd) Shaffer of Hillsborough, Doris Harvey of Moncton, and Joan (Steve) Douthwright of Collier Mountain; brothers Earl Surrette of Moncton, Paul Steeves of Parkindale, Willard Steeves (Linda) of Forest Hill, Roy Steeves (Jean) of Riverview, and Donald Steeves (Heather) of Parkindale; adoring grandson Rowan Steeves who was the apple of her eye; several nieces, nephews and many close friends. Grace was most excited about expecting her second grandchild in December. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Winston Steeves in 2008; sister Marilyn Beaman-Russell and several infant brothers and sisters.
All services to celebrate Grace's life will be private. Raymond and Tess wish to express a sincere thank you to RCMP officer Manuel Malo for his efforts in concluding the search for Grace, your compassion and understanding towards our family will never be forgotten.
