Nettie Irene Stewart

The family of the late Nettie Irene Stewart age 94, formerly of Reserve Mines, wish to announce her passing on March 12, 2019 at the Saint John NB Regional Hospital, surrounded by members of her family.
Nettie is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Bob) Hallett, Hampton NB; son, Jack (Verna) Stewart, Moser River NS and daughter, Paulette (Mike) Driscoll, Summerside PEI; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Nettie is predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) Stewart; parents, Evelyn (Harris) Peters and George (Jack) Peters; siblings, Kathleen Stewart, Laurie Ward, Inez Naugler and Donald Peters.
A special thank you to the staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital emergency dept, 3C North and palliative care unit for their kindness and compassion.
Visitation Sunday 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St., Glace Bay.
Funeral Monday 11 a.m. in Patten Funeral Home Chapel.
