LESLIE, GRACE MURIEL - At the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB on June 2, 2011, Mrs. Grace Muriel (Seeley) Leslie, wife of the late Mr. Royal Leslie formerly of Back Bay NB. Born at Arcadia, Yarmouth Co., NS on June 24, 1912, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Louise (Berry) Seeley. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, she is survived by one daughter, Dawn (Robert) Morehouse of Canal, NB, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, one half brother, Carroll (Freda) Daley of Old Ridge, NB, two half sisters; Elizabeth Hooper of St. Andrews, NB and Helen McDonald of Kingston, ON and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Royal, she was predeceased by one grandson, Gregory Morehouse, two brothers; George Seeley, Ned Seeley, three half brothers; James Daley, Ernest Daley and Darrell Daley and by three sisters; Alice Fiander, Mildred Justason and Bernice Stewart and by one half sister Inez Stewart.
Resting at the Seaview Full Gospel Church, Back Bay NB from where the service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating followed by the interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the church will take place on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In Grace’s memory, donations to the Fundy Nursing Home or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
