(December 5, 1947 - May 31, 2011). Passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Tuesday, May 31st., Roy Best of Marystown, age 63 years. Predeceased by father Ray Best. Leaving to mourn mother Pearl Best; three children: Jason (Sandra), Colin and Paula; five grandchildren; sister Shirley (Carl) Rose of Grand Bank, also a circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Tuesday, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2 p.m. from St. Albans Anglican Church , Grand Bank. Interment to follow at St. Albans Anglican Cemetery, Grand Bank. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Albans Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Warren’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
