Passed peacefully away at Hoyles Escasoni Complex on June 1st, 2011. John Patrick Squires age 69 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Squires; brother Bill and sister Bride. Leaving to mourn his five children: Patrick (Geraldine), William (Denise), Brian (Maggie), Gerry (Elaine) and daughter Michelle Smith (Bob); also leaving to mourn sisters: Kathleen Stinson, Dot Scott (Perry), Beth Redmond (Jim Power), Margaret Tucker (Frank); brothers: Cyril (Wanda) and Jerome (Patsey); nine grandchildren: Sarah, Shannon, Nicole, Cody, Russell, Robyn, Rebekah, Devin and Dawson, Also left to mourn his good friend John Bailey. Special thanks to Brenda, Susan, Dana, Denise, Craig and Duke and the rest of the staff on 1 East Hoyles Escasoni Complex. Thank you to Michelle Wittle for her loving support, care and making Dad a part of her family. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 6th, 2011 from St. John Bosco Church at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
