Suddenly at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Thursday, June 2, 2011, of Deborah Mary (Debbie) Powers of Alberton, age 58 years.
Born in Summerside on December 17, 1952, she was the daughter of Bud and the late Mary Theresa (nee Gallant) Ramsay of Summerside and the late Arthur and Marion (nee Botts) Ramsay of Alberton.
Loving mother to Alex (Wendy) Ramsay of Summerside; Jason (Connie) Ramsay of Alberton; Everett Powers of Halifax; Marion Inman of Comox, B.C. Cherished grandmother to Alexandra, Kaila, Hailey, Damon and Kordell Ramsay and great-grandmother to Breeanna-Ray Ramsay. Dear sister to Judy Biggar (Louis) of Summerside; Kelvin (Butch) of Summerside; Peter of Summerside; Barb Henderson of Summerside; Blaine of Alberta; Mysie Ramsay (Wade) of Summerside. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday morning from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Michael Painchaud officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
