Wilbourne Callahan- Aug. 14, 1918 – May 12, 2011 - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father Wilbourne Callahan who passed away peacefully at North Haven Manor May 12 at the age of 92 years. A very strong, honest, hard working, multi-talented man with a wonderful sense of humour. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories son Ward (Martin), daughter Jean (Edwin Russell), son Morris (Alecia), daughter-in-law Ivy, nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, sisters Margaret (Eric Bowering), Mildred (Warrick Woodford), sisters-in-law Florence and Emma Callahan, also a large circle of relatives and life-long friends. Wilbourne was predeceased by wife Patricia (Wells), sons Harvey, Robert and grandson Patrick, parents Timothy and Carrie, four brothers Baltimore, Scott, Frank and Edgar, three sisters Edith, Minnie and Hazel. Funeral service was held at Faith United Church, Campbellton, May 16 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Arthur W. Elliott officiating, with interment at Faith United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home.
