REED, FREDERICK - Frederick Reed of St. Almo passed away at the Victoria Glen Manor on the evening of June 2, 2011. Born in St. Almo, NB, on October 1, 1926, he was the son of the late Fred Reed Sr. and Hazel (Marston) Reed. Fred leaves behind his wife Joyce (Goucher) Reed; his daughter Carolyn Crawford of Plaster Rock; son Peter Reed (Cathy) of Plaster Rock; four grandchildren Dylan, Cody, Andrew, and Jeremy; great grandchildren Cami and Adan Reed. He was predeceased by his parents and his sisters Marie Warman, Elsie Melzer, Faye Wright, and Dorothy Campbell.
In accordance of Fred's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held in Linton Corner Cemetery. Rev. H.M. Lewis officiating. For those who wish, donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
