HEARN, Kathleen – Passed peacefully away on Friday, June 3rd, 2011 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in her 97th year. Kay was predeceased by her loving husband John (2003) of 52 years; her sister Margaret Martyn; brothers Patrick and Anthony Griffin and her son–in–law Michael Scaplen. Leaving to mourn are her sons: John (Brenda), Bill and Brian (Debbie); her daughters: Jean (Don Watt), Mary (Scaplen) and Margie (Ralph Clouston); 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will accept visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday, June 6th, 2011 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 7th, 2011 from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
