The death occurred peacefully at the Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, of Joe Perry, beloved husband of the late Margaret Perry (nee Gallant), formerly of North Rustico, aged 91. Joe was the loving father of Nancy Doucette (Pius), Randy (Mary), Joan Peters (Kenny), Judy Gallant (Paul), Len, and Tracey Sark (James); grandfather of Dwayne and Taunya Doucette; Krista Peters; and Brittany Baylin (Joel); and great-grandfather of Jade, Luc, Chase, Isabelle and Amy. He is also survived by his special nephew, Carl Gallant (Debbie); and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Margaret, Joe was predeceased by his parents, Aeneas and Millie (Pineau) Perry; brother, Basil Perry; sister, Adeline Gallant; granddaughter, Terri-Lee Peters, and brother-in-law, Richard Gallant. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Sunday, April 14, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will hold a prayer service prior to the visitation at 4:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
